Blogging Jobs for Moms: Don’t Let Them Take Advantage of You – Business – Business Ideas

December 21, 2011 By admin Leave a Comment

11311025374_make-money-online.jpgMoms have a problem. We rarely value ourselves as much as we should and if you have looked for blogging jobs for moms, where they specifically ask for work at home moms, you know people are taking advantage of this. You are worth a lot and if you have writing experience, you can find quality blogging jobs that won’t pay a pittance.

How much should you really be earning in blogging jobs for moms? Well, it really depends on your experience and the topic involved, but you could get anything from $10-$50 a post. Now, keep in mind that the high end of that number is likely only going to happen if you are an excellent writer with experience, but you can easily pull in $10-15 right from the start.

The trick to getting paid what you’re worth is to not doubt yourself. If you are anxious about your abilities and think you might not be that good at writing after all, then your potential clients will pick up on that.

Skip the low paying jobs. When someone is advertising blogging jobs for moms with a pay rate of $3-5 per post, you know that they are just trying to take advantage of you. Unless you really can’t write, those are useless payments and you shouldn’t be fooled into accepting them.

You need to be confident and realize that you can write blogs and you’re going to be good at it. If you don’t have the practice you figure you might need, then go ahead and start your own blog. It counts!

Entirely too many companies target moms as the ones who will work for next to nothing. Rather than pay what you’re actually worth, they just drop the prices so low that only someone living in Guatemala could survive on them!

Another good tip is to sit down and figure out how much you would have to write in order to pay your rent. If you’re getting $2 a blog post and you need $800 a month, that’s a lot of writing! Be realistic and keep in mind that if you don’t get paid what you’re worth, then there’s not much point in working. Blogging jobs for moms shouldn’t pay lower just because you have kids.

December 20, 2011 By admin Leave a Comment

21311025375_steps400x300.jpgIf your current blog isn’t bringing in the money that you need or you simply love blogging, you may want to consider hiring out your services to other blog owners. Some people would like to make money from blogs but either do not have the time to post regularly, simply are not interested in writing posts, or are poor writers. This is where you come in. You can help out another blog owner and fatten your bank account as well. There are several ways that you can go about finding or creating blogging jobs for yourself. We will review some of them.

Create blog posts packages: Write 365 blog posts about a popular topic and then sale them to another internet marketer: This is a way to create a blogging job for yourself. You can write about any topic that you want and you can work when you want to. If you would like, you could sit down and write 365, 250-350 word posts. If you work fast, you could have this done in about 2 weeks. Then you just need to visit some marketing forums such as the Warrior Forum or Digital Point forum and sale them. Be sure to write on a broad topic and to optimize some of the posts for keywords in the niche. The risks with this method are that people will not buy your post package or that they will not be able to afford it all at once. In these cases, write out about 30 posts and then send them to your clients on a monthly basis.

Promote your services at internet marketing forums: Many internet marketers are looking for blog writers. Promoting your services on sites like Digital Forum and the Warrior Forum are great places to attract clients.

Promote your services online: You can promote your services through pay-per-click. This is a way to get fast, targeted traffic.

Promote your services at free classified sites: Free classified sites like Craiglist or Backpage are good places to advertise your services. Just be sure that you get at least partial payment upfront.

Check out blogging job boards: There are job boards that are specifically aimed at writers looking for blogging jobs. There is apt to be plenty competition so make sure that you have a resume and samples on hand that you can send out quickly.

Go Offline: There are plenty of businesses that would love to start a blog but who do not know where to begin. Even if your knowledge is limited, you probably know more then 90% of businesses offline. Offer a free seminar on blogging or call up businesses in your area and tell them that you are an internet consultant and would love to give them a free consultation. Then up-sell them after you have gotten your foot in the door.

Finding or creating blogging jobs is a great way to earn some money. Because blogs tend to be shorter then articles you can write them quickly. If you would rather write on your own schedule, then consider creating short blog post packages and selling them to marketers. You may want to create a blog and update it for your clients as well. This is great and simple way to earn from your blogging efforts.

Blogging Jobs: How to Get Paid 4 Times for 1 Blog Post – Business – Sales

December 20, 2011 By admin Leave a Comment

01311025330_money-1.jpgBlogging jobs can be profitable, if you go about it in the right way. I often get paid two or three times for one blog post. And, on a few occasions, I’ve gotten paid four times for one blog post.

Following is how I manage to squeeze out extra dollars from one blog post. Try to incorporate this into your freelance writing business to make it that much more profitable.

Blogging Jobs Case Study: The Internet Marketing Firm Client

I have one client who owns an internet marketing firm. He often commissions what we call blog sets. In this case, it means a three-for-one post. I will write one post for him, and then rewrite it two more times. Same information; just different wording so that it passes Copyscape (learn more about this at Copyscape.com).

I charge him one fee for the initial post; what I call the master. Then, I charge him a reduced rate for the two rewrites. This is how I manage get paid three times to write one blog post.

Then, if he wants these posts posted to an article directory, I will charge him another fee to do that. This brings the grand total to four fees for one post.

I write on everything from insurance to financial services for this client, and the posts are in the 250-350 word range. The blog posts usually take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half. That’s to write all three and submit to a minimum of one article directory. And, I average about $60 for this.

Some days, I do three or four blog sets for this client, averaging out to an easy $180-$240/day. And, this is in addition to the other SEO writing I do.

Blogging Jobs Tip: Add Article Submission to Your Blog Writing Service

When surfing for blogging jobs, offer to rewrite the posts and submit them to leading article directories. Why would clients be interested in this service? Simply put, it builds backlinks, which drives traffic, which leads to sales. If they understand web marketing, they’ll get it. And, if they don’t you can explain it to them.

It only takes a few minutes to open an account for a client at a highly rated article directory site and submit the posts. And just like that, you will have added another income stream to your blog writing services.
